_{Welp. Me and my friend did it... we tackled AX at Artist Alley. It was hard at first but in the end I think we did ok for our first time. Whenever I'm not lazy I'll upload some of the things that we sold there. Thank you everyone for having such a fond interest in my shoes! I hope to hear from all of you soon.

Oh, and thank you for your TREMENDOUS help with the table. We bought you things... but yah gotta be home so I can give them to you!

And the biggest thank you is for Baro... for helping/dealing with me with what I went through. I hope we stick together as artists for a long time.

There is a current standing list now with shoe commissions. I'll post it here so ppl may see right away. I will open a certain amount of slots for the time being and then once they fill they will be closed for at least a month:

You know the statement, "There is always light at the end of the tunnel?" ...believe me its very true.

Quick story time shall we?

Basically, I've hit rock bottom in my life lately. Plans I had for it fell through and left me picking up the pieces of my life basically from scratch. It got to the point were I hit a serious mental breakdown recently that almost cost me my life. ...I had...
No job.
No home.
No real friend in sight.
I was told that when things get there worst its because something great is just beyond the horizon... I didn't believe it at the time and now I'm starting to.
The first wonderful change is that I might be getting accepted to my dream art school CalArts for their next term. (for those who don't know what CalArts is, its a difficult art school to get accepted into that was created by Walt Disney... their character animation dept is their greatest and if you attend school there its almost like a free ride into Disney or Pixar.) The submission dates are coming up and I am nervous but I was told by some of the professors at the school who have viewed my work recently, I should be able to get accepted. So I hold my head in high hopes that I will be.(hmm, maybe I should start uploading my portfolio work on dA... I only mostly put up silly for fun work here currently... and my portfolio work and my work here is so drastically different)...Oh and tip for anyone else reading this wishing to attend an art school that is worth while and doesn't just take you for your money: Don't ever show your Japanese style art most of the time... I already knew this going into my portfolio review at CalArts, but apparently most didn't and as soon as the other prospective students showed their works the professors basically didn't give them the time of day. Its sad manga style isn't recognized as wanted art in the art world but at the same time I understand because I'm sure all these schools are tired of it, there is no originality when it comes to that style anymore. That's why I do mine strikly for fun.
Now the second wonderful change took me by surprise and I almost died of happiness today cuz of it. I recieved a call today basically stating I am pretty much a shoe in for a particular company I applied for... and I get to participate in something very fun regarding the company prior to starting my job soon...
And this company... oh wonderful company...
Is the company I dreamed of working for even more than Pixar or Disney.

I am so happy, I feel my heart is about to burst. Good things do come to those who wait and those with kind hearts. Everyone who reads this, please hold your head high and keep moving forward. Even if everything falls apart and splits into two in your life... Karma will come around and if you have a good heart and will to do good, opportunity will arise.

_{Here it is... I have been getting alot of inquires on my shoe commission so I said if I got enough people sending me notes about them I would create a journal based off shoe commissions alone!

There are so sets of prices and both types vary in price due to the amount of detail on the shoes + what is requested. All prices include the price of the shoes themselves - If you provide the shoes, the price of those shoes will be deducted from the final cost.

Prices are as follows:

Off-Brand Vans type Shoes:
$120

Vans Brand Shoes:
$150

Slip-Ons:
$120

Chucks:
$140

**Prices include shipping**

All my shoes are water-resistant, I use an artist spray after shoes are completed to keep the colors from fading or running from wear and tear. *I don't want to say "water-proof" cuz they've only been tested in light rain*

Hi everyone~! How's it going?

I was amazed that I updated a few things lately... But I've been putting my shoe commissions and free sketches on the back burner for a little bit due to the lack of time. I now work for a video game company and with the overtime we have at the moment I don't have much time for anything else...

And the free time I do have goes toward college. ...And then maybe some sleep. XD ...I just got over a flu tho so I hope I got all the sleep I needed then!

This month is going to be a very busy month for me... I wonder how fast its gonna go?

I'm already tripping out that the holiday season is just around the corner again tho~! I'm excited about Halloween tho!

Return of the Art Drive...

Hello~!

I have things I want to upload but... I currently don't have a nearby scanner where I live AND I can't find my camera to computer hookup. TT__TT

But! Keep your eyes open~ There will finally be some new works up here soon! (And one thing is particular was something new I never tried before... And might be bringing in more monies for me... which is pretty much my current stuggle at the moment so that's great! *w* )

And a quick... Happy Early Birthday to Kalaena! ~I'll try to make it to your party this weekend~!
